V-Clinic goes live with GPS and Google Maps functionality.

Dublin, Ireland December 04, 2007 -- V-Clinic goes live with GPS and Google Maps functionality.

V-Clinic Interactive Health today launched V-Clinic GPS, a mobile GPS application that interacts with Google Maps.
V-Clinic GPS has been designed to enable sports people to track their training routes with precision from their GPS enabled phone.
Sports people such as cyclists or joggers simply download V-Clinic GPS to their phone and it will track their route, distance, speed, direction and elevation. The data is then sent automatically from their phone to their V-Clinic account where it is mapped and stored.

Users with other GPS enabled devices such as GARMIN or Sunnto can also upload their data to V-Clinic to be mapped and stored. V-Clinic Admimistrators can use the new technology to set precise training routes for their clients and can verify if their clients have competed the training route by analysing the uploaded GPS data.
V-Clinic GPS was developed with the assistance of AIT's Applied Software Research Centre.

The new GPS functionality enhances V-Clinic's reputation as the most advanced interactive nutrition, fitness and wellness platform on the market today.
